Cultural Relativism is the idea that a person’s beliefs, values and practices should be understood based on that person’s own culture, rather than be judged against the criteria of another.
In 2018 two Danish and Norwegian girl tourists were murdered while hiking in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. They wanted to believe the best of people in a Muslim country and one of them had even posted a video on her Facebook page showing a bearded Muslim man and saying “Never judge people by their appearance.” The video then purports to show that the real criminal was a drug-pushing white man, and in doing this, attacks “Islamophobia.”
The two girls were raped and stabbed by Islamic fanatics and one of them was beheaded. The beheader then sent a video of the actual beheading to the girl’s mother. Utterly vile.
Moroccans paid tribute to the victims with THIS PICTURE, which supports the left’s narrative about “nothing to do with Islam.”

Overwhelmingly, terrorism is from Islam. This is absolutely integral to the Islamic scriptures.
Sura 8:39 of the Koran, the second chronologically from Medina and certainly not abrogated, tells Muslims –
And fight them [the unbelievers] until there is no fitnah [rebellion] and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah.
Koran 9:5, very late Medina,says –
When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. …
Koran 8:12 (second from Medina) gives this gruesome instruction –
I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger.
And Koran 47:4, ninth chronologically from Medina, says –
When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads …
Beheading is a part of strict, non-abrogated Islamic doctrine. So why do so many Westerners refuse to recognize the fact, and seek to sanitize Islam and laughably call it a religion of peace?

In this, he documents a chilling series of cases in which the self-deceivingly naive beliefs of leftist Westerners about Muslim men (especially) and asylum seekers in the West have led to tragedy.
At the same time, the progressive mainstream media and politicians have fallen over themselves to deny any link to Islam. And Western charities and refugee advocacy groups have done their utmost to stop any “stigmatizing” of refugees, therefore preventing a carefully measured and rational response that would protect our societies from dangerous criminals.
We see this in Australia with the repeated, wilful decisions by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (stacked with permissive leftists by the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd Labor government) to block deportation decisions by Peter Dutton, the then Home Affairs Minister.
Another sad case:
Two American travellers, Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan, toured the Middle East with rose-coloured glasses. They wanted to believe that all people are by nature good. On their travel blog they said:
You read the papers and you’re led to believe that the world is a big, scary place. People, the narrative goes, are not to be trusted. People are bad. People are evil.
I don’t buy it. Evil is a make-believe concept we’ve invented to deal with the complexities of fellow humans holding values and beliefs and perspectives different than our own.”
But in almost every non-European country they visited, they were stalked, harrassed and threatened with physical harm. Eventually they and some other Western tourists cycling through the Pamir Mountains were murdered by ISIS supporters in Tajikistan.
The fact is, all cultures and people are NOT equal. People’s values, practices and belief systems about violence and treatment of other people are NOT the same.
Moral and cultural relativism are a delusion and a massive own-goal by leftists in the West. These people deny the superiority of Western culture, even deny that the West (for example, Australia) has a culture of its own at all. They engulf themselves in cultural pessimism, blame all the ills of the world on the West because of past and allegedly continuing imperialism, colonialism, patriarchy, misogyny and so on – while being blind to the record of other cultures, which in some cases are much worse in terms of the same alleged evils.
This worldview of the left is an illusion. Good people who are “red-pilled” and awake! must call out and fight the left’s rhetoric, because the left’s agenda in practice is about destruction of the West.
