Within the last two years we have all become accustomed to the media and many politicians, especially of the left, leveling “conspiracy theorist” at anyone who questions Covid’s origin, the content of Covid vaccines, vax mandates, masks, personal spacing and lockdowns; “climate crisis”; the cult of “sustainability”; Putin’s “mad dictator” status; digitization of human identity; the march to social credit systems; deliberately engineered depopulation; and more.
A real conspiracy theorist just makes stuff up, rather than noticing things that are actually happening, researching them and drawing conclusions. There certainly are some fruitcakes out there, who’ll talk about lizard aliens, for example. But the fact is, most people don’t give any deep thought to what their governments tell them. Unfortunately they believe their official medical authorities (which are heavily associated with and financially dependent on Big Pharma).
And the media have for long censored opposing opinion from other medical experts. Same on climate change too.
Conspiracies have existed forever. Not just theories but actual conspiracies. Remember how in the 1930s, the European left refused to believe that Stalin was enslaving and murdering millions of his own people? That was just a conspiracy by apologists for class privilege, against a hero who was building a better world!
What if we substitute the milder word “collaboration” or the even milder one “co-operation” for “conspiracy”?
Do those who mock “conspiracy theorists” have any inkling of the number of times separate countries’ governments, organizations, corporations, or a combination of these have got together to achieve mutually desirable – or even downright evil – aims? What a coincidence that a whole swathe of world leaders – globalists the lot of them – have for the past three years been mouthing the same slogan, “Build Back Better!”
Build Back Better
Wikipedia – a source with a pronounced leftist bias on anything political (you were aware of that, surely?) – says that “Build Back Better is a strategy aimed at reducing the risk to the people of nations and communities in the wake of future disasters and shocks. … Building resilience entails addressing physical, social, environmental, and economic vulnerabilities and shocks.”
Hmm. Let’s look at the background.
On 12 June 2021, a White House Fact Sheet [ https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2021/06/12/fact-sheet-president-biden-and-g7-leaders-launch-build-back-better-world-b3w-partnership/ ] announced that President Biden and other G7 leaders had agreed to launch a Build Back Better World (B3W) initiative “to help narrow the $40+ trillion infrastructure need in the developing world, which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.” The G7 and other like-minded partners would coordinate in mobilizing private-sector capital in four areas of focus—climate, health and health security, digital technology, and gender equity and equality.
The UK’s Boris Johnson, New Zealand’s Jacinda Ardern, the US’s Joe Biden, Canada’s Justin Trudeau, Pakistan’s Imran Khan and other world leaders all associated themselves with the slogan.
Note those four areas: climate, health and health security, digital technology, and gender equity and equality.
So THAT’S why we see the World Health Organization pushing a global Pandemic Treaty that would override national sovereignty …
and why governments are pushing for everyone to get a Digital ID; why they’re pushing for Central Bank Digital Currency and the death of Cash;
and why all the economy-destroying measures by leftist governments (and me-too Oppositions) to transition out of fossil fuels to address the alleged “climate emergency”, or as the UN’s head fool Antonio Guterres puts it, “globull boiling.”
More on that below.
And then there’s the mania in leftist governments and woke corporations for DEI – Diversity Equity Inclusiveness – a Cultural Marxist agenda that is destroying merit and performance in the West.
These smothering narratives are being questioned
In fact, thinking people are vigorously questioning the groupthink narrative being pushed by politicians, the UN and nearly all the media on climate, Covid vaccines, boosters and mandates, alleged white racism, the war in Ukraine and the urgent need for us to surrender ever more of our civil liberties for the “greater good.” Let’s look at a few of these.
The Ukraine war
The narrative we are being fed by nearly all our Western media and politicians on the Russian invasion of Ukraine ignores the central reasons for the conflict. The invasion was not unprovoked and was avoidable. Unfortunately the West, thanks to the US neocons and believers in Pax Americana as the sole World Hegemony, is hellbent on fighting POST-communist Russia to the last Ukrainian. Meanwhile the war cleans out the inventories of the arm dealer and obsolete military equipment of NATO countries (and Australia), and stimulates production of more armaments. Even more to the point of it all, the American military-industrial complex gets a bonanza of contracts. There’s a detailed analysis of the history in a separate article at https://freedomandheritage.org.au/russias-invasion-of-ukraine/ . Most commentators and politicians are historically clueless about the conflict.
Climate emergency
These four excellent books by eminent environmental and geological experts comprehensively demolish the groupthink climate crisis narrative. There is NO climate emergency. Current slight warming is nothing exceptional and in fact we’re in a colder period now than at several times in past recorded human history. The climate has always changed, in cycles, through geological ages. REAL climate scientists – geologists – can see it in the rocks.
Michael Shellenberger, Bjorn Lomborg, James Delingpole and Ian Plimer are eminently worth reading, in full. By comparison with them, present day “climate scientists” dependent on short-term research grants have a vision a mile wide (let’s jump on the prevailing narrative’s catastrophism) and an inch deep (I need to stay employed).
They also get aboard startlingly changing alarmist fads. Two covers of TIME magazine from April 1977 and December 1979, and then from April 2001 and 2006, are like a weather vane:
Yet despite all the panic about allegedly rising sea levels flooding the Maldives, Kiribati and other rent-seeking Pacific island countries, they’re all still there. And here’s a 2024 photo from Saint Petersburg:
Despite the emotional ads by the thoroughly corrupted environmental NGOs, polar bear populations are not diminishing at all. And the shrill pushers of the climate emergency narrative TELL LIES to advance their economy-destroying campaign against reliable and affordable energy production.
Another quite disgraceful fact is that Carbon Credit trading on Global Warming is a global Billion dollar business.
It’s a money-making scam, a pea-and-thimble trick that naive environmentalists fall for when they agree to pay more for airline tickets (for example) in the belief that they are saving the planet.
It’s a 21st century version of the indulgences that the infamous Tetzel hawked around in Reformation-period Germany.
We’ll cover some of the remaining false narratives in subsequent posts. Just be aware –
