The Mental Baggage of Muslim “Refugees”

By Hugh Fitzgerald (written in September 2013)

muslum 01Muslims are raised up, and taught in their scriptural texts (Koran, Hadith, Sira), to despise the mere man-made laws and customs of the non-Muslims. To feel contempt and hostility, and even murderous hostility, toward Christians and Jews and Hindus and Buddhists and all other non-Muslims, and to suppress them if they raise any obstacles anywhere to the spread and then the dominance of Islam.

Yet they flee their own lands, made wretched and miserable by Islam itself, for it is Islam that explains the automatic recourse to extreme violence. It is Islam itself that explains the failures of that strange creation, the Muslim nation-state. It is Islam itself that explains
the Muslim inability to create and sustain political institutions other than autocracy or despotism, held in place by money and a near-monopoly on arms.

It is Islam itself that explains the economic backwardness of Muslim states, among whose members are countries which have since 1973 alone been, collectively, the recipients of some 20 trillion dollars in unmerited oil and gas revenues but all of which are held back by inshallah-fatalism and an inculcated hatred of bida, innovation or change.

The Significance of the Mosque

In many respects Islam is unlike any other religion. That is because it really is a political ideology bent on world domination. Being radically different from other world religions, we can therefore expect that particular features of it will be radically different as well.

Consider the Islamic mosque. To most people unaware about basic Islamic thinking, a mosque is simply a place of worship, just like a Christian church or a Jewish synagogue. Sadly however this is simply not the case. The Muslim mosque is far different from either a church or a mosque, and for a number of reasons.

But before I address this in detail, let me broaden the scope of my deliberations here. The truth is, when Islam comes into a non-Islamic country, there is much going on that most folks are unaware of. While many Muslims may migrate to non-Muslim countries for various reasons, such as to flee tyranny, or for economic and personal reasons, not all do.

Books on Culture War

Australia, as a part of the West, is seeing more and more destruction of our freedoms and growing manifestations of Islamic Sharia over our own laws, Constitution, values and economy. The openness of our society to this is self-inflicted. Over the past 45 years or so we have been subjected to, have allowed and now largely even internalized, a relentless onslaught upon traditional Judeo-Christian values. We have accommodated poisonous and culturally destructive ideas which whiteant and destroy our own culture.

Cultural, religious and moral relativism; a fetish for "non-judgmentalism" (which means, in practice, having no standards); and out-and-out nihilism mark a society in steep decline. Without faith in our own civilization and robust preparedness to defend shared values that unite us, our society is dangerously exposed to a remorseless Islamic enemy whose aim is to extinguish our civilization, as it has all others it has conquered.
